The Honorable Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesu is the minister of foreign affairs of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and is a member of the High-level Task Force for the International Conference on Population and Development. He previously served as minister of health and has long been committed to the field of global health. He previously served as a co-chair of the Board of the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (PMNCH), and as a Board member of GAVI, the Vaccine Alliance. He holds a Ph.D. in Community Health from the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom.
